BK 4-Way Stretch Stump Shrinker with Silicone Top Band
**Delivery up to 2 wks**
Description
Prosthetic shrinkers play an essential role in both rehabilitation and long-term limb care after amputation. A properly fitted shrinker helps manage residual limb volume, supports healing, and can even assist in reducing phantom limb pain.
For a new amputee, a shrinker is especially important during the early stages of recovery. It promotes limb maturation by applying consistent compression, helping to shape and stabilize the residual limb in preparation for the first prosthetic fitting. For experienced prosthetic users, wearing a shrinker nightly helps maintain a consistent limb size. This ensures that the residual limb is the appropriate volume in the morning, allowing for proper and comfortable application of the prosthetic leg.
Consistent use of a correctly fitted shrinker contributes to better prosthetic fit, improved comfort, and long-term limb health.

**It is highly recommended that you consult your prosthetic professional for specific guidance on the proper application and use of your shrinker. Always report any changes in fit or in the condition of your residual limb. Limb volume and shape can change over time, and periodic reassessment may be necessary. In some cases, new measurements may be required to ensure an appropriate fit for a new shrinker.**
