ABOUT THE BELT

This medical grade paediatric umbilical hernia belt is from the BrownGuard black Orthopaedic Solutions luxury range. So, look no further if you want support, comfort and luxury combined.  This high quality paediatric umbilical hernia belt made of materials that are non-irritating and latex-free.  An Integrated insert in the belt prevents further development of the child’s umbilical hernia.  It is closed with hook-and-loop fastener.  The effect of the infant umbilical hernia is based on targeted pressure via the insert on the umbilical area, which producces the required support and therapeutic effect.

MEASURING / SIZE GUIDE

The size can be determined by measuring the circumference in cm at point “t” as indicated in the daigram.

Size 1 = 31 – 41 cm, Medium = 41 – 55 cm

THE UMBILICAL HERNIA MUST BE REDUCIBLE.  DO NOT APPLY ANY HERNIA SUPPORT OVER A HERNIA THAT IS NOT REDUCIBLE.  Please choose the right size to achieve the desired outcome to achieve the desired effect If you are on the border between two sizes, choose the bigger one. HOW THE BELT WORKS

The mechanism of the umbilical hernia belt is based on targeted pressure via the integrated insert on the umbilical area – to produce the required therapeutic effect and prevent further progression of the umbilical hernia.

APPLICATION

Place the umbilical hernia belt so that the insert lies on the umbilical hernia and then tighten the belt with the fastener for adequate pressure. Make sure that the belt is not twisted. If the product is visibly damaged, stop wearing it and replace it with a new one.
