The breast flap is made of a special material Lymph O Fit™ to  provide lymphatic relief when inserted into the bra. In particular, characterised by the 3D raised dot structure on the inside of the flap. This material has a massaging and draining effect on the subcutis and its smaller lymphatic vessels, as it applies gentle compression to lymph vessels and the skin. Thus, activates and improves lymphatic drainage and supports scar reduction. Can be inserted into a bra to encourage lymph drainage

The material can be used for the reduction of light lymphoedema in the breast, for haematoma, fibrosis, after arm lifts, liposuction and transplants of lymph nodes, as well as for mild lymphoedema in the legs or groin (see other garments listed in this range on our website).

Lymphoedema can appear as a result of breast cancer surgery (BET, radiation oedema, mastectomy). In cases of lymphoedema, the flow of lymph through the lymphatic system has been disrupted and results in swelling.

An untreated lymphoedema will not disappear. Instead, the symptoms will only worsen. This will result in a need for permanent therapy and lymphatic relief. The Lymph O Fit™ products support a rapid regression of post-operative oedema and a better manageability of chronic lymphatic drainage problems.
