In addition, it helps freedom of movement and offers a good level of adaptation to variations in circumferences. They are a treatment method in the management of major burns and help limiting recourse to reconstructive surgery.  However, the benefits are not limited to burn healing, they can also be used in the treatment of other conditions such as lymphology or Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
