PitPaks are harder than foam pads so it is advisable that they are used under the guidance of a health care professional. They have been specially developed for the treatment of persistent, long-standing fibrosis or lipodermatosclerosis, and are available in a variety of shapes making them anatomically suitable for various parts of the body. The unique channelling within the PitPaks help to channel lymphatic fluid towards the lymphatic nodes.

The patient’s tolerance should be taken into consideration when determining the amount of desired compression, and they are most effective under compression bandage, wrap compression systems or compression garments.

Garment Care

PitPak products are machine washable but must not be tumble-dried. Wash with cold water and press the moisture out by rolling in a towel, then leave to air dry. PitPaks are made of cotton and spandex and filled with 100% natural cherry pits (cleaned and sterilised).
