Medical compression hosiery helps to maintain the results of a medical treatment, increase venous flow and avoid further complications if you suffer from one of the following: varicose veins, varicosity associated with pregnancy, perforator varicosis, lymphoedema, inflammatory venous disorders, insufficiency of leg veins and pulmonary embolism.

Compression hosiery is contraindicated where there are acute symptoms such as phlebothrombosis, arterial diseases, open ulcers, infection, stasis dermatitis, where the skin is very vulnerable to breakdown, and an ankle measurement under 17cm. Great care must be taken where there are cases of arterial circulatory disturbances, especially when sensation is impaired.
